Allendale - special and undiscovered

This Victorian cottage built in the mid nineteenth century is part of a row of six located near Allendale in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Fully equipped for all weathers, it is ideal for couples or a family up to four. Whether relaxing in our glorious summerhouse overlooking the pond in the summer, to cuddling up on our reclining sofa in front of the wood burning stove in the cooler months, you will find all you need to make this a very special retreat.

Five minutes drive from Allendale village and fifteen minutes from the market town of Hexham. The Roman Wall and the Leadmining Industrial areas are closeby. If you like walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, visiting gardens, museums, historic houses or just relaxing in the garden or wildflower field, this special and undiscovered area will not disappoint at any time of the year.
